Welcome
I'm James W. Hall, a public school teacher and freelance writer who lives in Orlando, Florida. I teach Language Arts, Reading, and Geography at a local middle school, and write Science Fiction stories and political columns on the internet in my not-so-spare time.

Brief Biography
Born in Bethesda, Maryland, in 1952, I've lived most of my life in central Florida. I worked for the Walt Disney Company for 23 years, starting as a ride operator and finishing my career there as a technical writer. I have B.S. and M.L.S. degrees from Rollins College. I'm single and enjoy a life of teaching, reading, and writing. My goals are to become a better teacher, write an influential Science Fiction novel, and live a happy, fulfilled life.

My Writing
I write occasional columns as a Senior Associate Editor for The American Partisan and have written for other internet publications, including Blue Ear Magazine, The Coastal Voice, and Science's Next Wave. I'm a graduate of the Odyssey Fiction Writer's Workshop in Manchester, New Hampshire. I keep two blogs: one on politics, called the Conservative Democrat, and another on my efforts to write a Science Fiction novel, a blog called A Writer's Odyssey.
