My Little Jodi

This page about my Jodi is dedicated to my dear friend Diane who passed away suddenly
in September of 2006. Diane was a wonderful person who grew up on a farm and raised and loved
all kinds of animals. She was an animal lover in every way.

I met Diane through my dear friend Richie...My sister and I knew Rich from when we
were kids and always kept in touch over the years in one way or another. Diane and Rich lived
in New Jersey and were breeding and raising ShihTzus, Poodles and selling "POO" breed puppies.
They had gotten Jodi and her sister from a horrible puppy mill in PA, which is a long story in itself.
Diane and Rich had Jodi for just about a year.

My Shannon had passed away in 1998, if you read my page about her you'll see how
it devastated me. I didn't want another dog after I lost her. I knew I'd never be able to love
another dog the way I loved Shannon and not only that, I would've felt guilty. BUT..
One day I received a call from my friend Diane asking me if I wanted a little ShihTzu.
I thought about it and said I'd come over and take a look. This was in 2001.

Jodi had been a kennel dog all her life and didn't know much about being a dog dog.
She is now a Princess with a capitol "P". She is smart and cute and oh so funny!
She warms my heart every day and I thank Diane every day too for giving me this little fur ball
to love and who loves and gives me so much more in return.

Rich and Diane moved to Florida in 2005 and I bought my little house then too. So, Jodi and I come
to Florida every winter and she just loves it here. She is such a good girl and adapts so well to everything.
Rich continues Diane's legacy of breeding and selling her precious "POO" puppies.
Diane had written a website about her dogs. You can click on the link below their picture to visit

My little Mobile Home is just across from my sister's house in Ocala, Florida,

and Jodi and I just love it here. She travels like an old pro and is always happy
to get back home to N.Y. too.
Jodi has her own little fenced in yard here and I have planted palm trees and all sorts of tropical
plants, trees and flowers, while they are freezing back up in New York!

My Little Jodi

I would like to end this little page by saying thank you with all my heart
to Diane and Rich. We will miss her always.
Jodi reminds me every day of Diane and I owe her so much...I could never
express just how much having Jodi meant to me, but I know she knew.
Having Jodi makes me smile!! You should have one too!
