RUDY- A Chesapeake Bay Retriever

Rudy embodies all that is good in the canine species.  He is the kind of dog you just want to hang out with, yet he is one of the truly elite Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. 

I brought him to handling classes, threw bumpers for him, showed him to his first three points and then moved out of state.  Handler Phil Nelson finished him in the ring.  His field training and trialing was accomplished by David Mosher of Lab fame. 

Rudy competes successfully with the finest field trial Labrador retrievers.  Rudy is the winner of the 1996 ACC National Field Championship, owner-handled by Wendy.  Rudy went eight series in the 1999 Canadian National.
