HIS EXPRESSIONS are a sign language ministry under the creative, leadership of Jenice Broomfield, MS Ed. who comes from a broad and vast background of teaching both the hearing and hearing impaired. Most importantly HIS EXPRESSIONS are under the professional management of PARADISE PRODUCTIONS, Franklyn Broomfield President. Paradise productions prides itself in identifying, supporting, and promoting new up and coming Christian artists. Paradise places them in the view of thousands, so that first and foremost God our heavenly Father might be glorified, and secondly new and upcoming Ministries might be recognized. HIS EXPRESSIONS recently where the opening act for Helen Baylor - thanks to Paradise Productions.

HIS EXPRESSIONS - Adia and Michelle - best friends are very special young ladies! Both young ladies are fully hearing, and seniors from Westchester and San Pedro High Schools respectively, and they both have a burning desire to minister to both the hearing and hearing impaired. Following a performance by HANDS OF PRAISE (another sign language group led by Mrs. Broomfield), they decided to create a ministry developed around a similar concept - yet their own.

Michelle and Adia take their ministry very seriously. They have been known to work hours on end looking for appropriate music, perfecting their signs, praying for God's divine inspiration, and keeping each other encouraged. They use their God given talents to glorify, honor, praise and worship the Master. Adia states, " Quite often we find new meaning in the songs we perform, and have learned to appreciate more the ones we just listen to!"

HIS EXPRESSIONS have received rave reviews from such Gospel persoanlities as Reginald Utley, Andre' Russell two of L.A.'s top Gospel's D.J's. They have performed at the Hollywood Park Gospel Brunch, Adlean Fuller's Annual Scholarship Fund, Faithful Central Baptist Church, as mentioned earlier they recently opened for the world renowned Helen Baylor, and have ministered at numerous churches throughout the Southern California area.

HIS EXPRESSIONS have other talents as well ! Michelle sings, and has toured the United States with her high school choir, she is also a member of her high school cross country track team. Adia is an accomplished marathon runner, and is very proud of finishing the 2000 marathon ahead of all of here male team members. Adia is also a very talented writer. She recently was 1st runner up at the Southern California Youth Federation Oratorical contest - her dissertation was entitled "Abstinence".

Michelle and Adia, are active members of the Smyrna SDA church, Glenn D. Howell pastor. They both are members of the Pathfinder Club, sing in the Youth Choir, and serve as ushers. Both Michelle and Adia are determined to be faithful in their christian walk. They want to inspire other young people to feel good about using their gifts for the Master. Michelle says, "It is important for young people like us to to know that they can have fun while serving Christ - we certianly do!"
