       Kim Cory owns Cory Graphics, a graphic design and screen printing business, in Milwaukee.  She started the business in 1985.  For the past 25 years, she has exhibited and sold merchandise at the EAA show in Oshkosh.  She has visited China to import merchandise for this event.
       Prior to starting her business, Kim taught art for eight years in Wausau and South Milwaukee.  She has a bachelor's degree in art and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and a master's degree in art from UW-Milwaukee.

       Laurie (Meierhofer) Kasuboski (Ripon) received the Ripon Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award on January 18.  According to Chamber president Andy Lyke, Laurie has "worked tirelessly on behalf of Cookie Daze, Dickens of a Christmas, St. Patrick's Church Tulip Festival, and Ripon Rotary."  In addition, Laurie volunteers for the Ripon Children's Learning Center, has taught youth at St. Patrick's Catholic Church for more than a decade, and serves as community liaison for Father Wally's Panama mission.  (Source:  Ripon Commonwealth Press, January 23, 2003).  Congratulations, Laurie!!

       Rob and Nancy Schanke (Crawfordsville, Indiana) and their children vacationed in Hawaii over the Christmas holidays.  Rob spent two weeks in South Korea last year for his Army Reserve job.  Rob and Nancy's son, James, graduates from high school this year and has been accepted to nine colleges.  Their daughter, Angela, is a freshman in high school.  

       Anne (Schmitt) and Craig Murphy (Puyallup, Washington) hosted an exchange student from Australia on January 8-20.  Their daughter, Stephanie, is a junior and plays on the high school volleyball and basketball teams.  Their daughter, Natalie, is a 6th grader and also plays volleyball and basketball.

In Remembrance

       Arline Laura Sauer, mother of Deb (Sauer) Parrish (Papillion, NE), passed away on January 11 at her home in Ripon. (RCP, January 16, 2003).

       Robert Wepner, father of Beth (Wepner) Disbrow (Waupun), passed away on Saturday, January 11. (Source:  RCP, January 16, 2003).

       Alex Bugarske, father of Pat (Bugarske) Crosley (RHS '72), passed away on January 20.  He died from complications from pneumonia in St. Cloud,
Florida, where he was spending the winter.  A memorial service is planned for February 8 in Ripon.  Alex was born on a farm in Crivitz, in 1915.  He was 87
