Kathy (Kelm) Meinke (Madison) is a mortgage lender for US Bank. Her oldest son attends the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Her youngest son just completed a computer graphics/website design course and will move to Minneapolis soon.

Kathy is involved in alternative/complimentary healing and will become an ordained minister of healing in March. She has trained in energy healing as well as breathwork. Kathy works with a physical therapy group and with three doctors. She finds her work with children to be especially challenging and rewarding.

Kathy just returned from spending a week in the Caribbean on St. John.

Jeff Keplin (Fond du Lac) has worked for Chiquita Processed Foods in Ripon for over ten years. He is also the First Responder Coordinator for the Lamartine Fire Department, and was previously a licensed emergency medical technician (EMT) for 15 years. Jeff has been married to his wife, Darcia, for two years. Jeff's son, Adam, is 22, and works in Brownsville. Adam is a sergeant in the Wisconsin National Guard, and is getting ready for a possible six to twelve month deployment to Kosova.

Ken Przybyl teaches Geometry and is the head cross country coach and assistant basketball coach at Christchurch School, an Episcopal boarding school for boys and a co-ed day school for grades 8-12 in Christchurch, Virginia. The website for Christchurch School is: http://christchurchschool.org/

30th Reunion News

Debbie (Bonsen) Coolidge (Mesquite, TX) and Joe Griese (New Berlin) will serve as co-masters of ceremony for the RHS Class of 1973 30th reunion at Tuscumbia Country Club on Saturday, August 9.

Sarah (Bumby) Colonna (Ripon) has agreed to serve on the 30th reunion committee. She joins Annette (Bucar) Merryfield, Pat (Henslin) Ehrenberg, Peter Grams (golf outing), Mary (Hammerling) Gable (address updates), and Jeff Root. We are seeking two more Ripon-area classmates to serve on the committee. Contact any committee member if you can help.

Reunion News from Other Classes

The RHS Class of 1968 will hold its 35th reunion on Saturday, July 26, at CJ's at the Wayside (the former Wayside Elementary School). (Source: Classmates.com).

The RHS Class of 1978 will hold its 25th reunion on Saturday, August 9, at CJ's at the Wayside. Tara (Zacharias) Koller has been in contact with Jeff Root about the Class of 1978 joining the Class of 1973 for a tour of Ripon High School.

In Remembrance

Vernon Daehn, father of Jennifer (Daehn) Cartier (Waunakee) and Mike Daehn (Oshkosh, RHS '75), and father-in-law of Kerry Cartier (Waunakee), passed away on January 25 in Appleton. (Source: Ripon Commonwealth Press, January 30, 2003).
