John Giles is a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter with over 20 years professional experience. While living in Nashville, he has played for several national artists including multiple Grammy winner, Leon Russell. He has played over 500 shows with Leon including The Late Show with David Letterman. John relocated to Nashville in 1996, and has worked as a sideman, studio musician, and songwriter, playing and recording many different styles. Prior to making his home in Nashville, he and his band "Great Train Robbery" toured the country and recorded four independently released albums. On these albums, John was a major contributor. He wrote, sang lead and background vocals, and played lead and slide guitar and also served as band leader and road manager.
