The Historical Mogul

The Mogul series recently came on the market and is a big hit. Mogul is the best game I have seen for simulating historic careers; it combines the speed of Tony LaRussa with the accuracy of Front Page Sports: Baseball. I've used the Edit Player feature in Mogul 2000 to correct the 1998 patch as much as possible. Soon, I will start on historical patches.

Suggestions to Improve Your Mogul Experience

Tired of looking at all those pictures of righthanders? Use Paintbrush to hoizontally flip some pictures, then save the file replacing the "R" with an "L".

Download some historic stadium pictures (plus Turner Field).

1998 Roster Patch 1998 Roster Patch version 1.1; this is a corrected version of the roster patch that was included with BM99. Things not corrected in this edition: retired players, and anything that cannot be edited via the Edit Player window.
1916 Roster Patch Take control of the Red Sox and see if the Babe can get in the Hall of Fame, as a pitcher! Looking for a challenge? Step into Connie Mack's shoes as skipper of the Philadelphia A's; their 117 losses that season has never been equaled.
