Jonesy Racing

Although winter has not left us just yet, the race season has pretty much arrived. the car is completely together. Spent a day at the track testing and breaking in the motor after the rebuild from H.O. Motorsports. Although i didn't get any lap times, or run the car very hard, everything felt good. After we change from the break-in oil, to the race oil, and have the carbs gone through, we are ready to rock and roll. This next week will be spent getting the new trailer set up. We now have a black and chrome United 8' X 16' enclosed trailer, nicely equiped with lights inside as well as lighting for the pit area. we take off for the Vegas roadrace with the guys from M.L.C. Racing, Friday March 9th. After Vegas we will be switching to new Bilstein shocks as well as setting the car up for the oval tracks, as the local tracks will be open for practice soon. I am not to sure about this whole OVAL racing thing, I dont think I have ever raced only turning left??? Hope I don't get dizzy!!!!! RACING IS LIVING, EVERYTHING ELSE IS JUST WAITING.
