with sports. Some with computers. Ever since I was twenty-nine (I still
am) when I saw myself on screen for the very first time, I've been
obsessed with acting. Just ask yourself: Is there anything better
than sitting down in the direct center of a movie theater, popcorn (with
real butter!) in one hand, a soda in the other, and watching me on screen?

Since all my friends
know I'm an acting nut, they often ask me whether acting today is better
or worse than during the "Golden Age" -- the 30s and 40s, when
you had "Oz," "Gone With The Wind," and so many others.
I tell them that I love all good acting -- seriously, today's movies are
better -because now they have ME. But I have to say, watching
Scarlett glide down the staircase in the green dress -- what a moment!
There's nothing wrong with glamour -- Hollywood, here I come!
(My son John says Scarlett never came down the staircase in a GREEN
dress - that was Carol Burnette with the green
