I have known about Joy Perrin for 25 plus years (well. First heard of her in North Carolina in the 70's when I saw this all girl band, "The Moore & Perrin Band". Blew me away. She has continued to just get more spritual, deeper & better over the years. So glad I found you again, gal...on the net. You are truly one of the great talents out there. I am a big fan, friend and admirer of yours. The new CD is absolutely awesome. Got some DJ friends who want to play it on the college stations around Charlotte, Spindale & Asheville areas. Joyous, I knew you as Joyce in high school in St. Joe, Mo. I remember sitting by you on a bus going somewhere, and you were playing your guitar and singing "Stewball" or some other folk song. I admired your wonderful singing voice! I happened to be looking around on Classmates.com and stumbled on to your name. Hi Joy you have a fantastic web site glad you stuck with it, I am still working for the government and getting into pc stuff at work such as networking and pc help desk I still drum at times...it is like riding a bicycle to me....wish I had had parents that really pushed me toward that when I was little. I was into a bit of a nostalgia fit last night...Trying to remember the Best Times I Ever Had, and naturally, seeing The Moore and Perrin Sisters shows at The College Pub in Winston-Salem, NC came to mind. The web pages are Great, and I just heard "To the Left" for the first time in about 20 years. It is fantastic that Joy is still playing, especially for people who rarely get out. It's pretty inspiring. Also, I noted some people I have not seen in several eons on this guestbook as well, which is a kind-of side-thrill. Anyway, thanks again for some of The Best Times I Ever Had!
