Wehle Beer OI: This rusty dumper had a rotten seam, and a small hole betweem the E and H of Wehle. An acid bath helped the rust staining considerably, and some hole patching took care of the seam and other small hole. Some repainting was then in order, most of the E and H have been repainted, and some work was done to the lower black band and the word Beer. Luckily the 'fish scale' grey background was decent, so it is untouched.

Red Fox Ale Low-pro Cone: My current project. Nasty hole on front face towards bottom rim. I couldn't stand looking at that hole anymore!....plus it was getting bigger! Pretty clean label (for a dumper) otherwise.

UPDATE: 3/12/00. Not finished, but progress is good. Hole has been patched, correct aged bottom installed, and the majority of repainting is done. Note the missing text 'brewing co inc.', and 'contents 12 fl ozs'. With the help of a good friend, I am currently experimenting with reproducing this text with computer generated graphics printed on professional grade adhesive backed clear decal paper. See above for sample printed on regular paper. Prognosis looks very good, needs some final tweaking before installing. The stinker looks to be the "contents 12 fl ozs" since we can't print any color but black, and it should be white.....More to come.
