John's Thorp T-18
In front of it's home at Jeffco airport in Colorado. N71JE was completed and test flown by me on 10/30/90, after 15 years of construction.
The first Thorp T-18 to arrive at Oshkosh 1999! My aircraft has made the trip to OSH six times, and it won "Best T-18" and EAA "Outstanding Workmanship" awards there in 1992.
With a group of other Thorps at Leadville, Colorado, elevation 9927 feet above sea level. Our "magic carpet" has taken Vicki and me all over the U.S.
