WE FUNCTION AS AN ARTISTS' CO-OP FOR SONGWRITERS. OUR MISSION IS:
TO SUPPORT ORIGINAL SONGWRITING AND SONGWRITERS IN THE BAY AREA.
TO HELP EACH OTHER GET NOTICED.
TO COOPERATE TO PROVIDE MORE PERFORMANCE VENUES FOR ORIGINAL SONGS.
TO ASSIST SONGWRITERS IN THEIR CREATIVE AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT.

YOU ARE USUALLY GUARANTEED A CHANCE TO SHARE AN ORIGINAL SONG OR POEM THE FIRST TIME YOU VISIT A SPONSORED OPEN MIC. THESE ARE THE REGULARLY OCCURING OPEN MICS ANS WRITERS WORKSHOPS TO DATE. MORE ARE BEING SCHEDULED.
OPEN MIC EVERY 3RD SUNDAY, COPPERFIELDS IN PETALUMA, 2-4 PM OCT 22/NOV 19/DEC 19
WRITERS' WORKSHOP USUALLY THE 4TH MONDAY EXEPT DURING HOLIDAY WEEKS (SEE THE SCHEDULE) LIGHTHOUSE COMMUNITY CENTER, A AND 2ND STREET HAYWARD 7 PM. OCT 23/NOV 20/DEC 20
WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING TO FIND LOCATIONS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS FOR THE FOLLOWING DAYS:
SAN JOSE OR SOUTH BAY, SAN FRANCISCO, EAST BAY (OAKLAND, BERKELEY AREA), TRI VALLEY (LIVERMORE, PLESANTON AREA), CONTRA COSTA COUNTY AREA.
3RD MONDAY, 3RD TUESDAY, 3RD WED, 3RD THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH.

This is the monthly singer-songwriter in the round
series hosted by singer/songwriter Caren Armstrong.
$5 donation (ALL proceeds go to the musicians!!!)
Strings is an interesting place. It's an abandoned
laundromat that looks like a dump from the outside but
is a nice space inside for both performers and
audience. Very comfortable. It's a private
house-concert kind of setting; they exist solely to
promote acoustic music. If anyone at the door asks
who sent you, tell them one of the performers,
