TRAINING FOR JUNIORS / CADETTES
The upcoming training session is available for those girls aged 11-15. Class size is limited, so please let me know as soon as possible, if interested.
American Red Cross Babysitter Course Camp Mahachee
This session begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2002. There is no school in Dade County on that day. This session will prepare you with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or guardians.
Prerequisites: Age 11-15. Cost $25.00 (?)

ARIANA'S COOKING CLASS
We have scheduled a cooking class for Monday, September 16 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. This class is mandatory for cadettes as they are working on the Creative Cooking interest project. I would like for all the juniors to also attend. The class is located in the Pinecrest area. The class is on Italian cuisine and you will cook your own lunch. Cost $15.00.

Weekend at South Miami Little House.....
October 4-6 -
Cadettes will be preparing a four course dinner on Saturday afternoon. Parents are invited to dinner. Brownies and Jurniors are encouraged to spend the weekend with the cadettes. Brownies and Jurniors can work on try-its and badges while the cadettes work on their interest project.
Sleeping bags will be required. Indoor sleeping quarters and bath facilities.
Cost: $10.00 Brownies
