Aircheck Exchange-JSF Airchecks
Welcome to ...
                  Aircheck Exchange
                              ----Radio broadcast recording trading-----
Featuring these and other great stations...
               ABOUT AIRCHECKS
Airchecks are recordings of radio stations. The term 'scoped' is short for 'telescoped'. This means most of the music, ads and news are edited leaving just portions of the above with DJ talk and jingles. 'Unscoped' airchecks contain everything heard on the air. My collection consists of both scoped and unscoped airchecks.
The word 'aircheck' is a broadcasting term from the early years. Sound engineers made comparsions between the studio output, 'line check', and the actual sound heard by the listeners, the 'air check'.
Airchecks are a great way to travel back in time and listen to the way classic AM Top-40 radio sounded, hearing the way today's oldies were originally presented as hits, and hearing now extinct formats like Beautiful Music. Airchecks are truly treasures of radio history.

                            I TRADE!

If you see airchecks in my collection that you are interested in e-mail me  and we can set up a trade. These recordings are NOT FOR SALE, however as an alternate to trading, I will accept blank media and will return with your selections.

*  The airchecks in my collection are not for sale. I will accept blank recording    media, dub your choice, and return to you if you are not able to trade.

*   I can use CD-R's or cassteets for dubbing, I can also burn MP3 CDs which can fit many hours onto one disc. I prefer MP3 discs to save postage and they seem to be more reliable-also the aircheck info. can be put into the files.

*   I ship First Class US mail.

*    I will e-mail detailed description(s) of any aircheck(s) in my collection upon request.
