I created this website in honor of
the one-year anniversary of
a new angel going to Heaven.
I want to celebrate his life...
he touched the hearts of many during his 9 years with us,
and I pray that he will NEVER be forgotten.
Love, Mommy

I lost my child, my best friend to cancer
Anthony Michael is his name, he had Medulloblastoma - a fast growing brain tumor. He was diagnosed in January 1996 after experiencing headaches and vomitting. Several doctors diagnosed him as having the flu...but it was more than that........

I suffered right along with Anthony for 2+ years. I watched the cancer take over his body, as he went from an active, skinny boy, to a heavy, hungry boy in a wheelchair - who had to worry about vomitting and losing his hair.
CANCER IS SUCH AN UGLY DISEASE
I will always be so proud of Anthony,
he was stronger than most grown-ups I've known.
He fought very hard.

HE LOST THE BATTLE BUT HE WON THE WAR
ONE OF MY VERY FAVORITE MEMORIES OF ANTHONY IS FROM NOVEMBER 1997. WE WERE DOING SOME CHRISTMAS SHOPPING AND HE ASKED JOHN (HIS STEP-DAD) TO PUSH HIS WHEELCHAIR UP TO THE SALVATION ARMY BELL-RINGER. WHEN JOHN ASKED 'WHY', ANTHONY REPLIED THAT HE WANTED TO GIVE HIS MONEY TO SOMEONE 'LESS FORTUNATE'.....
HE HAD THE BIGGEST HEART OF ANYONE I'VE KNOWN

Anthony enjoyed many things:
Legos
Hot Wheels
Nickelodeon
Catching Frogs
Baking Cookies
Tossing the football with his Step-Dad
And making people laugh...

Anthony Michael, you are my sunshine, you are at home with God, wait for me and we'll spend eternity together.

Enjoy your children today,
they are truly only on loan to us from God.
Thank you to all our family and friends who
have helped us along the way.
