That Piece of Your Heart.

That piece of your heart that your beloved pet took with him? That's a good thing. It means he was loved enough for you to let him take a piece of you with him.
While waiting for us, they hold out their little paws as if holding something special and tell their friends, "Hey look! The one(s) who loved me so back on earth let me bring this with me!"
The other pets ooh and aah at the open paw of their friend as if seeing something wonderful and magical.
Our pet lets the ones who left our world not knowing love hold their precious gift so that they, too, can feel the love. Then our pets tell them that they will join them and their loved ones as we all cross the Bridge together so that no one is left unloved or left behind.
