Welcome to The Chainfire Maille/Armor construction webpage!
The goal of this page is to be a quick reference guide to maillemakers of all types.
Any suggestions/comments are welcome!
Sorry I haven't gotten around to updating the site in a while (the guides to
weaves and pattern library mostly, I still continue to post tips and ads when
people request it). Been busy lately, but I'm still alive; the site will be
updated eventually....
-Kris
I've had lots of visitors to the page since I first put it up, and lots of
positive feedback! To make the page better, if you have anything to contribute
anywhere on the page, please do so!

Not so recent updates:
June 20, 2000- Added quick guide to weaves, hints & tips, and classifieds pages
all soon to be filled with useful stuff. Also updated 4in1 page with new
graphics, and redid the main menu graphics, although its not that noticeable.
June 19, 2000- Moved (and fixed) links section; it is now on the bottom
of this page. These messages at the top of the page will eventually be
removed, they probably are a little annoying.

Links to other maille, armor, and weaponry pages. Only the best here!
E-mail me if you want a link to your
maille page here.
Sara's Chainmail Connection
The classic resource for chainmaillers of all types. If it's maille you're
looking for, you'll find it here.
Edgar Welded Link Chainmail
That's right, welded stainless steel maille! This guy produces welded maille
and links, and the quality looks great!
Miron's Mail Manufactory
Producer of a line of maille products, and also offers custom jobs
as well as loose links for do-it-yourselfers. I often get e-mails asking
me to make things, but I don't sell any maille. Miron's Mail is a good
place to start looking for maille work, both standard and custom, as well
as a line of jewelry.
The Chainman's Maille
Personal site with several pictures of excellent examples of work in maille
that the author has created. The pictures themselves are worth the visit, and
are great for people needing some inspiration :-)
Darknight Creations
New site selling some nice looking maille products and other miscellaneous
Gothic items. If you are looking to buy finished maille, this is one place
to start.
The Arador Armor Library
Another classic resource for all types of old armor and weaponry. Very organized
sites, and a section with links to resources for the creation of RIVETED maille,
if you every want to try your hand at it. Definitely worth a look!
The Colluphid Armory
Another great maille page with construction techniques and a large library
of patterns for various maille and non-maille armor pieces. Check it out!
