Mars Millennium Expeditioners

Ms. Stephens, Ms. Sinex, and Ms. Stephens 6th Grade class. We held an open house to showcase our Mars Millennium Project designs.

The Mars Millennium Mesa

We decided unanimously on the Millenium Mesa for our community. We accepted some advice from a scientist to build our community underground to protect us from radiation and meteorites, so we have chosen to place it within a large Mesa.
Our group split into 8 research groups; shelter, emergencies, transportation, people, entertainment, atmosphere, power, and food. Each research group built a model to demonstrate our designs.
We also prepared a report for NASA officials describing our ideas, designs, and interpretations of life on Mars. Follow the link to mission control to see all of our models and reports.

The Mars Millenium Expeditioners

We are a group of 10-6th graders from Highland View Middle School, Corvallis, Oregon. We work under the guidance of Ms. Stephens and Ms. Sinex. We seperated into research groups and presented our ideas at an open house on May 1 - 2. Our groups are Atmosphere, Emergencies, Entertainment, Food, People, Shelter, Power, and Transportation.
