A past member of Sigma Rho Delta drop by and say Hi!

If this is your first visit, I'd like to thank you for coming by.  My chosen femme name is Kathy Louise.  Early in 1997, I felt it was time for a new direction in my life.  I needed to get out of my private "closet" and meet with others like myself.  Don't let the pictures fool you.  I'm not a real girl even if I love to appear that way.  I've been a crossdresser for many years and I know it's a part of me that will never go away.  I've joined Tri-Ess (The Society for the Second Self.) and a support group.  I became the Corresponding Secretary for Sigma-Rho-Delta for a period of time and because of this position I've been able to reach many others like myself.  Some of them have been able to take that first step out into the light.  Others have not been quite so brave.  That's okay, either way.  It's not an easy choice to make, but it's one that is solely up to you to decide.  You can have a lot of fun being a member of a group.  I only wish I had done it years ago.  We try to offer the support you are longing for and a safe place to express your feminine self.  Write to me sometime if you'd like someone to talk to.

Right now my son and his fiance are living with me along with another room mate. I was living alone for a time since my "X" spouse and I decided that 2 ladies in the same house were 2, too many! We still talk sometimes, but not often. Our divorce was final on 2 Oct 2000. Doesn't seem like 5 years already. That same week I was also forced to leave my job because of my being Transgendered. Certainly was a busy week by most standards, divorced and out of work, too! It was a struggle, but I survived. Life goes on and I'm better for it.

Presently, I run a local bar and pursue a few other hobbies. We're working on getting The Cross Creek Girls Club started up again.  It's a means for TG members of the local community to meet and have fun in a safe setting.  Clink on the link below to learn more.

To all my sister's out there, I'd like to thank you for writing and for all the nice things that you've had to say.  I do love hearing from you.  Remember you don't have to be alone about being a crossdresser in this day and time.  This is your place, too.  So come in, sit down, relax and prop up those high heels.  They can be such a pain to walk in, can't they?  Read and enjoy and may all your paths be smooth and wide!
