Notes for RICHARD WOODRUM:

At Turners Place, there is an old log cabin known as the Old Woodrums Place, in Turner Hollow Rd. on Dog Trot/ Spruce Run. In 1825 he purchased 100 acres on Little Wolf Creek from Daniel Boardman. In 1829 he bought another 100 acres, both tracts purchased on credit. The loan was called and Richard had to sell one tract to Henry Maggart, and obtain a deed of trust from John H. Vawter to cover the remaining debt. In 1834 be purchased 73 acres on LWC Mountain from Nimrod Tackett, in 1841 185 Acres on LWC from Thomas Green.
