Our United States Deaf Bowling Federation (USDBF) is the National Sports Organization representing the sport of bowling for USADSF. All bowlers and bowling fans are welcome to join USDBF at a membership dues rate of $10.00 per year. They must also be a member of USADSF;its membership dues are $20.00 per year, which will change to $10.00 per year beginning January 1, 2000.
To qualify for the US Deaf Bowling Team, the USDBF member must bowl in the bowling tryout at Rochester, NY in July 2000 from which the top five bowlers will be selected. This tryout will consist of bowling 12 games a day for 2 days and 16 games on the final day for a total of 40 games in three days.
To be eligible for this bowling tryout, a male bowler must have a ABC or YABA book average of 175 or better and the female bowler, a WIBC or YABA book average of 150 or better.
