We live in New Plymouth, Idaho on our small 18 acre place. My wife, Nancy, and I have two children, Amber and Tyler. We have been involved with kelpies for about 10 years. Our main focus is raising biddable stockdogs with the power to work cattle. Most of our dogs are in the range of 45-55 lbs. We raise our dogs with our kids so they should fit into most homes.

I have been working with dogs for about 10 years. My first working dog was a Border Collie/ Aussie mix. She got me hooked as I was researching what kind of dogs I wanted to have. I researched Kelpies for two years before I got my first Kelpie. Since then I have been working with as many folks to find out how to better train, work, trial, and breed good dogs.
My wife has worked with vets for over 13 years and she helps with the medical and general care of the dogs.

I am a current member of the USBCHA, WCDA, and ASCA. I feel that these orginizations all have different ideas on the perfect stock dog and I try to spend as much time with the members to find out how they work towards making the perfect working dog. I hope to someday be as knowlegdable as a number of the folks I count as friends.
