What is provided by Sunset Beach Cottage and what do we have to bring?

Bring your personal items and bath towels. All bedding (including pillows, pillow cases, blankets, comforters, sheets) is provided and you will find clean and freshly made beds upon your arrival.
Dishwashing soap, hand soap, dish towels, hand towels, toilet paper, dishes, pots & pans are provided by us.

Do you supply the charcoal for the Weber grill?

No. Please bring your own charcoal. There are a gas station and a bait shop on the lake. Both offer charcoal for the grill.
We do however supply free fire wood for the outdoor fire pit.

What do we have to do in order to make a reservation?

Please call us or write an email. We need your home address.
We will then send you our rental agreement that we would ask you to sign and return together with the deposit payment.
Please look up the page "AVAILABILITY" or call us to make sure that your preferred week or days are still available.

How shallow is the water?
|

You step down from the manicured lawn into clear ankle deep water with sandy bottom. Our 3 year old daughter is comfortable to walk all the way to where the end of the dock is and climb up the 3-step ladder by herself. From the end of the dock it becomes gradually deeper (down to about 10 feet in the middle of the bay).

Do we have to clean the cottage at our departure?

No. The cleaning is included in the rental fee.
We would like to mention at this point however that we really appreciate it when our guests dispose garbage and recyclables separately in the provided bags. We also expect anyone using the fish house for cleaning fish to dispose those remains outside the fish house in the provided garbage can. Thanks in advance for being so considerate and kind.
