Judy Surname Research BibliographyThe "Baron" Carlock's 1954 book on Judy's History and Genealogy of the Judy-Judah-Tschudy-Tschudin-Tschudi-Schudi Family of America and Switzerland 870 A.D. to 1954 A.D. (a copy at the Rockingham County Public Library, Harrisonburg, VA.) I purchased a copy of this book April 1, 2000 through Barnes and Noble's rare books inventory item # 9780832825101 but the last I heard they had depleted their stock. My copy was a re-print by publisher Higginson Book Company, 148 Washington Street, Salem, Massachusetts 01970, Phone 978-745-7170. I gave this information to someone in January of 2004 and they said they were able to order it from them. Here is a link to their web site: http://www.higginsonbooks.com/janes-junkinsSC1.html "Judy" Books by Bill and LaVonne Lee JUDAY and JUDY in the Pacific Northwest. Dec 1989. JUDAY and JUDY in Indiana. Apr 2005. JUDAY and JUDY in Missouri and parts of Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Ohio and Oklahoma. Jul 2007. JUDAY and JUDY in the West- includes Arizona, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North and South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming and parts of California and Texas. Nov 2007. From a March 1, 2008 email from Bill: We now have four full-name indexed books containing abstracts of county courthouse records from the indicated states for the surnames JUDAY and JUDY. Includes marriages, civil and criminal court records, probates, births, deaths, cemetery tombstone inscriptions and interesting articles from local histories and newspapers. One will not find more information on the JUDY/JUDAY surnames in the indicated states in one place anywhere else. Any serious JUDAY or JUDY researcher will find something they are missing in each of these books. There will not be any more JUDAY and JUDY books, as we have now published all the data we have gathered on those two names during years of exhaustive research throughout the Western States. It's been fun, but hard work as well, as I'm sure you know. Ken - thanks for including our books in your website. And remember, when you are looking for a new computer, check out Dell and Gateway by going through http://www.baseballundertaker.com. I try to keep up with their Specials and Coupon offerings on my website. And for Domain names, website hosting and Email, check out GoDaddy, also by going through my website. I get a small commission from clicks from my website, and as you know, we all need all the help we can get. I also have genealogy sites there too, as well as links to some free sites too.
