I originally got this bike because I wanted to do a quicky Bobber type bike. I wanted the smaller motor because I wanted the better gas mileage. I commute about 100 miles a day to work and back and needed something I could put together fast, would be reliable and comfy and be a nice little lane splitter to beat the LA traffic. So this is what it looked like when I finished it the first time. Click on the pic for some build up pics.

So I took it for a ride to a friends house about 50 miles round trip. It was fun till I got it on the freeway and started thinking about how it would be for an everyday bike. Short on legroom and I was slipping off the back of the solo seat. Apehangers were good if you wanted to be a sail, and once you got up to 80 mph you had to hold for dear life with both hands. The upswept pipes sounded bitchen but were WAY to noisy to start up at 5:00 am or to get away without a ticket for very long. Though it was cute to look at and a great little bar hopper, it just wasn't gonna do for the purpose I had in mind. So here is the second incarnation. This is the third and final incarnation of this little bike. Probably not much good for commuting, or land splitting for that matter. It's really comfy though but as of this writing I haven't had it out on the road. It's now nine feet long, has a whole new ehxaust system, new seat, ness fender, homemade pull way the hell back bars, and a cute little headlight of my own making. it's 8" longer in the back and about 2' longer in the front. All bent up in my bench vice. I stretched the top tube because I found this Paucho tank and just had to have it. anyhow, click on this pic for more of the story....
