John Sylvester Cottrell, born August 17, 1885, was the son of William Thomas and Eda Jane Cottrell. He died August 21, 1977 at Grantsville Hospital.
Mary Jane Schoolcraft, born May 7, 1887, was the son of "Little Charlie" and Matilda Smarr Schoolcraft. She died February 10, 1986 at Grantsville Hospital.
They were married January 6, 1909 at the residence of Charlie Schoolcraft in Calhoun County by J. J. McCumbers.
