Sherman Cottrell, born March 28, 1911 in Calhoun County, WV, was the son of William Thomas and Eda Jane Cottrell. He lived on Robinson's Run, Monongalia County, West Virginia and died April 29, 1997 in the Wishing Well Health Care Center in Fairmont. He is buried on his farm on Robinson's Run.
Eula Virginia Vanhorn Cottrell, was born August 10, 1917 on Steer Creek in Gilmer County (mouth of Butcher Hollow). She was the daughter of Wilford Bertie Vanhorn and Minnie Catherine Smith Vanhorn. She died in the Morgan Manor in Morgantown January 19, 1993, and is buried on Robinson's Run.
