GREETING CARDS WITH AN ATTITUDE
KATE HARPER DESIGNS, a Greeting card publisher, is seeking submissions for a new greeting card line called "cards with an attitude." Prefer young writers with an edgy sense of humor.
Kate Harper Designs is a greeting card company that sells cards to over 2,000 retail stores throughout the country, including Whole Foods Markets, Papyrus, Tower Books, along with many independent bookstores. We use recycled papers, soy inks, print our cards in the United States with union printshops.

Greeting Card Writer's Guidelines
• Looking for statements, your quotes about the weirdness of everyday life. What do you say to your friends over a cup of coffee?
• Send quotes, statements less than 20 words. The shorter the better.
• Email to kateharp@aol.com SUBJECT: " Quote Submission."
• Quote should be for the front of the greeting card only (Not for the "inside" of the card).
• Include the following information (if available) with all submissions: Name, Address, Phone, Fax (if possible), email.
If your quote is chosen we will contact you within 4 weeks. During this time quote submissions are voted on by staff, sales representatives and bookstore owners.

IF QUOTE IS SELECTED, AUTHOR WILL RECEIVE:
1) Payment of $25.
2) Name credit (Author's name will be printed on the card).
3) Six greeting cards ($18 value).
