Katherine Kreider is a recognized authority and visionary in the preservation of "The Valentine." She is the author of the following three books. Kreider also appeared on the, "Martha Stewart Living" TV show, showcasing her antique Valentines, February 2000, 2001, & 2002. Kreider is also a member of, "The Ephemera Society of America." Kreider lives the Valentine experience every day of her life! This gives her first hand knowledge of the market place, market trends, and market values nationally. So when her books were complied they were done with 25 years of experience in the buying, collecting, documenting, and selling of Valentines. Originally it was a hobby, but now it is her true passion to take the documentation of the Valentine as far as it can go.

Kreider is the curator, of the "Kreider Collector", as well as, a dealer in Antique Valentines. She has a vast inventory of antique Valentines for sale, from the late 1800s to the 1960s. Her speciality are the dimensional Valentines. She and her husband, David Kreider, has a year round booth in, "Stoudtburg Antique Center", (formerly Black Angus", located in Adamstown, PA. Booth #315 (in the new section). Hours 7:30am till 4PM open every Sunday during the year and three Saturdays a year when the Extravaganza occurs.
Besides appearing on the "Martha Stewart Living" TV show, she has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, The San Francisco Examiner, The Antique Journal, Collectors Showcase, and prices Valentines for, Schroeder's Antique Price Guide, The Flea Market Trader, and The Garage Sale & Flea Market Trader.
