Team Bounty Hunter
Team Bounty Hunter 2007
Dan Yarrusso,
retired from Verizon Communications in 2003 and live in Murrells Inlet S.C.
Discovered this hobby in 1980 and have enjoyed the excitement that this hobby provides
and the many friends that I have due to this hobby.
I proudly wear the gold ring that was presented to me for 1st place at the 2004 G.N.R.S.
and I am looking forward to helping the Bounty Hunter Team take 1st Place at the
2007 G.N.R.S
My name is Beau Ouimette. I grew up in the Lower Shenandoah Valley, and have thus been blessed with excellent opportunities to search for both civil war and colonial artifacts.

I started detecting in the late1970's. My first machine was a Bounty Hunter model 840. My relic "career" started in earnest upon my discharge from the Army in 1983. From then until the spring of this year I have used, almost exclusively, Whites metal detectors. They say that all things come full circle, and now nearly thirty years since I first walked a-field with the ' 840, I have rediscovered Bounty Hunter. I am proud to be on their team using the excellent T2.

I look forward to meeting new friends on this GNRS as well as seeing the old. So take the time and say “Hi”, but not too much time, for you know this is a competition!

Good luck to all!
Chris Armstrong
I reside in Southern Middle Tennessee with my wife of 17 years Kim, daughter Madi, three dogs, two parrots and an albino corn snake named Niblet. My background is in manufacturing and technology and I am employed by a certain Big Orange university as a Senior Technical Specialist in aerospace research. I also serve as a Warrant Officer in the Tennessee State Guard as a Provost Marshal (MP). My other interests include history, politics, diving, and travel.

My relic hunting adventures began in 1994 when my wife gave me a metal detector for my birthday. She has regretted it ever since. I learned to use the machine on her parent’s 100 acre farm that was a Union cavalry encampment used during the Tullahoma campaign. I dug my first bullet here and was hooked for life. Well over a decade later, I still get the same thrill digging a bullet as I did that very first day. My favorite find is a humble US box plate that has “I. Huff 15th W.V.” carved in the back. Isaac Huff survived the war. This is the only hobby I have ever had that has never grown boring or tiresome. I’ve been hunting with the same guys for over twelve years now and will keep diggin’ until I physically can’t do it anymore.

Last year I purchased a T2 and have been very impressed with its capabilities. It is now my primary machine and first choice when hunting new territory. I was proud to be a part of Bounty Hunters best GNRS finish to date and am looking forward to a first place finish this year!
