Welcome to K.F.S. Industrial FabricationMy name is Kevin F. Shrewsbury, owner of K.F.S. Industrial fabrication. I've been in the metal and non-metal fabrication business for over 26 years including 15 years in management as a supervisor, out source manager and quality manager. I am responsible for the ISO-9000 certification of 2 laser cutting fabrication job shops. I know there are a lot of companies that want not only Quality Parts but Quality Parts at a Fair Price. During my time as an out sourcing and quality manager, I compiled several fabricating contacts with excellant laser fabricating businesses. All of these businesses are "job shop" companies which rely on getting their business from businesses like yours. Laser cutting machines are expensive and businesses with high overhead find it hard to justify buying one for use at their company. That's where I come in. I can supply your parts through these companies for a fair price. These companies are ISO-9001:2000 certified and promise high quality and on time deliveries. All products are carefully inspected and assured to conform to customer specifications. Certificates of Analysis of customer specifications and material Certificates of Conformance are available from these businesses to assure you they were manufactured to your specifications. All of these businesses have laser cutting, welding, press brakes, shears and shop tools to perform a wide range of product fabrication. Laser cutting machines cut metal and non metal material unlike a plasma cutting machine and are capable of very strict tolerances. How I OperateThrough me, these fabricating businesses will bid on your job(s) using your blueprints or sketches. After determining what processes are needed to manufacture the product a quote is fowarded to me for you to compare to your own costs. The pricing depends on the material and who's material is used plus the time it takes the job processes to be completed. All of these businesses are small business operators and have very low overhead and that means savings for you! Their only business is fabricating products for companies that need to lower their overhead and turn a higher profit. They are capable of fast engineering turn arounds and offer extremely low lead times so you can get your products when you need them. In some cases, depending on the complexity of the product, a small engineering charge may be added for the first run of the product. Any additional orders of the same product will NOT have the engineering charge added on. This engineering charge is small but can be avoided if your company supplies a DXF to the fabricator you choose. These businesses have capable, quality staff members to assure you of conformance to your specifications. You can be assured they will be very critical of your product so they may receive future orders from you. The responsibility of quality parts to you is placed on my shoulders and the quality staff of the business that wins the order. That leaves you worry free and able to operate your business without leaving the plant. I assure you, your order will be manufactured to your specifications and delivered on time.
