Fear Is At The Core
Anger boiling over,
Poisoning the celestial spirit.
Hot venom flowing deep,
Searing the tender soul.
Resentment laying roots,
Smothering the beating heart.
Searching for reasons why,
Not sure just where to start.
I pray for some insight,
Learning fear is at the core.
Feelings I've not spoken,
Where do I go from here?
Fear of starting over,
Not knowing how it will end.
Past failures haunt my mind,
Will this time be any different?
I pray to you to help me make it different.
To help me be different.
To help me believe.
