Griffin - the Police Series, Patricia Cornwell - Love that Kay Scarpetta, Stuart Woods - Barrington rules, Carolyn Hart - Death on Demand, Daine Mott Davidson - Cooking Can Kill You, Virginia Rice and Nancy Pickard - both are timeless, James Lee Burke - Robicheaux is my hero, Ian Rankin - John Rebus can solve anything, the Kellerman's Faye and Jonathan, and Janet Evanovich - I've never laughed so hard! Also anything about the South - especially Southern Ghost stories and Legands (Nancy Roberts writes the best!) add to all those, Rita Mae Brown and Sneaky Pie, Lilian Jackson Braun, Laura Childs, and Tamar Myers (If you are thinking I read a lot, you'd be right!)
Favorite Place to Visit: Disney - I love the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. I'm also Pooh's biggest fan.
Peeves: People who smack when they eat - it drives me insane! I also don't like those who think they are better than others.

Welcome to the South
The most important things in my life are my daughter and my husband. I married Kevin on October 27, 2001 at the Kershaw-Cornwallis House at Historic Camden in Camden, South Carolina. Kathleen was born on March 17, 2003. I never knew you could love a person so very much that you feel you could explode at any moment just from looking at them. I thank God every minute of the day for the precious baby and wonderful husband he has given me.
I am a quiet person. I love animals, crafts (sewing, crochet, painting, woodworking, scrapbooking, floral, needlepoint, candle making, and most others), reading, plants (indoors & out), dancing (line) and being with my family. Kevin and I both collect cars, his are all NASCAR, while mine are both NASCAR and Police Cars. I also collect tins, beanies, furbies, police patches (am I well rounded or what?), Christmas Ornaments and dolls.
Kevin and I also love animals. I'm pretty well rounded and like most all of them. He is a dog person. We have several kitties, fish, and a couple of puppies. We recently purchased a house on 11 1/2 acres! People ask me all the time if I'll like living out in the country - I must confess it's the greatest thing! I can go outside and walk my yard. I can see the stars at night and smell the seasons. I can even ride on the small tractor we have and play farmer if I want. All that and I'm only 5 miles out of town.
