A BOOK ON THE NAMES & ATTRIBUTES OF GOD!
God is a Spirit:they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. John 4:24
When you are cast down you will know that Restorer of life. If you are afraid you can know He is your Peace that passes all understanding. If you are up against a battle and don't know what to do you can know He is the Buckler, the Sword, your Defense, your Lawgiver, Advocate and Justifier of him who believes in Jesus. If you are hopeless He is your Hope and the Comforter. When you need a safe place to hide He is your Dwelling Place In All Generations. He is that High Tower you can run to and look down at the situation and see it through His eyes. Know He is the HIGH TOWER THAT WILL NOT FALL. When you are weak He will be Your Strength In Time Of Trouble and your Song. When all the doors seem to be shutting in your face, He is The Door no man can shut because He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is Faithful, True, Just, a Wonderful Counselor and He does not change. If you are thirsty He is the River of Living Water and a Well of Water springing up within you and as a Mighty rushing wind He gives you a fresh wind of His Spirit to refresh and restore you. He is The Resurrection and the Life. He is your Husband, the Bridegroom, the Beloved one that will not disappoint you. In Him we live and move and have our being. He is Jesus, our Prince and Savior, the King of kings, Lord of Lords who reigns over all. In Him there is no darkness for He is the Light of the world and your Morning without clouds. He was the Lamb slain before the foundations of the world for your sins and mine, your Salvation and the Lord of the whole earth. He will never leave you or forsake you. He is your Heavenly Father. He loves you unconditionally! God is Omnipresent (a universal presence), Omniscience (all-knowing God) Omnipotent (God of infinite power)
I pray the Father of glory will give a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him to everyone who reads this book. Reading His names will bring an assurance that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Just as you recognize the voice of a friend, you will begin to recognize the voice of the Father, feel His presence as He speaks His names to you in every situation you are facing each day. You will know Him more because of seeking His names. You will be in awe and humbled by the names you read and then as you speak His names some will take your breath away as you discover His holiness and love for you. Praying His names brings answers. May you discover an intimacy with The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in a new way as you take time to Know His Names!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR My name is Carole Roxburgh. I have been married to Clint Roxburgh for 35 years and we have two children, Christie and Kevin. God has used me in the East Texas area and throughout many countries in the world to encourage others in their walk with Jesus Christ. In 1999 as a Bible teacher began to teach on the names of God I knew I would write this book on His names. I began the most fulfilling three years of my life and now I share them with the world.
There were many days I sacrificed what I wanted to do in order to be obedient to God and write this book. I was in awe of what His names were saying to me. God has a pattern and plan for all we do and I was to put His names in alphabetical order. As I started reading the first four hundred and fifty names God stopped me on a name. It was one of those special moments when I realized all God was saying to me about His names and I had to include many verses. Each scripture spoke to me a different deity name as I read them. May you be in awe of His names as you read these verses and discover a new meaning of who God the Father, Lord Jesus Christ, His son and the Holy Spirit of truth are for your life.
God can use anyone who is willing to be obedient and surrendered to His will and ways. God is always working in our lives and we must always be sensitive to His callings. God guides me daily without me realizing it at times. I thought I was just typing all these names of God for myself but God used my times of studying His Word over the years for this book. He revealed to me one day I would be sharing them with others. We all know that all we do is to be for His glory but we are surprised when He does it through us. I was singing in the former Soviet Union and getting my translators to translate my songs into Russian while on volunteer missions never knowing God would use me to help build a Church in Alupka, Crimea by publishing a Russian Phonics songbook for mission teams to sing praises to Him. I found a Big God in Alupka and it has changed my life forever.
As I began to find stones in the Bible in 1986 Throw Down Your Stones, another book unfolded and God is using it to bless people I meet on the Internet, in my city and around the world. As I gathered the stones in my life I began to lay them before the Lord and they became like an altar of worship to Him. I had to be tested to see if I would be steadfast, unmovable and fixed on what He said through His Word. These times were not always easy but He was with me as I marked special times in my life to remember with forty stones. Now I return often to read those stones and remember what God has done in my life these past seventeen years. Stones have marked trails for people to find their way back, or have been a signal to entrances or special places people want to remember but for me these stones say, I have passed this way before victorious in Christ Jesus. We can all walk victorious when we walk in obedience and sacrifice to God's will and not our own.
There are more names to be found I am sure (I have found 145 more) so as you read all the 1,400 names I have found, I pray you will be blessed as you began To Know Him as you Know His Names. As I have read these names they have lifted me above my problems and set my feet to dancing and put a song of joy in my heart. The Spirit of God continues uplifting me body, soul and spirit and like a mighty gushing spring with its refreshing waters springing up from within me and flowing over me and washing me with the truth of His Word I am experiencing Him a new through His names and knowing now His love for me. You can know God through His Names!

TO KNOW HIM IS TO KNOW HIS NAMES+++++ This BOOK has 1,550 Names & Attributes with scripture references in alphbetical order including an Appendix at the end with His Names by book of the Bible and also two pages where you can write any new names you will find in your daily Bible reading. This has been a wonderful journey in my life as God begin to reveal His names to me as I studied the Word or listened to my Pastor and other Bible teachers shared the Word then suddenly another name would be added to the book. I argued with God about some of the names but finally realized as in all things God must be LORD OF ALL OR NOT LORD AT ALL. So when you see some simple names like "I" or "He" and think I was just trying to find another name if you will read the verse and you will see why God wanted that particular name added. If I could ever learn His way is the only way then my life would be so much easier but this old flesh wants it its way and I know that the only way my life can be easier is if I LET GO and LET GOD have His perfect work in my life. The Creator of all things, including me, knows a lot better how to run my life than I do. So I pray when you get a copy of His Names and learn as I have to pray through them till His peace that passes all understanding comes, read through them to be encouraged and lifted up for another day or to make it though another night and remember that we serve a MIGHTY GOD who loves us more than we could ever understand. These names take my breathe away as I read them to think the God of all flesh, the God of Knowledge, the God of Love, the God of Hope, the God of all grace, the God of ALL COMFORT is there just waiting to have a personal relationship with me! God is a FAITHFUL GOD who wants to have a relationship with all HIS creation so let Him love you today through His names and like me you can say: He is "HIM WHOM MY SOUL LOVETH".
God tells us who He is through His names as we read HIS WORDS! I've found 1,550 Names & Attributes.
