About Our Troop

We are 7 8th to 10th grade Cadettes/Seniors from Tigard, Oregon (a suburb of Portland). Our Troop Crest is The Unicorn.

What We Are Doing

We are gearing up to host our Neighborhood's Thinking Day event, again! This has become a tradition with us. This will be the 4th year we have been involved in the planning or hosting of the event. So far, Kami is doing Canada! She loves hockey, so enough said!

We are also planning a trip to Canada for Spring Break. This will be a combination of Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver B.C., and maybe the San Juan Islands.

Kami and Sara are getting busy planning our Neighborhood's Spring Camp Out for their Silver Award. Lynnette earned hers last year before bridging to Seniors. Becca, Anna, and Heather have all earned theirs this year. Kami and Sara will earn theirs in the spring before the 5 of them bridge to Seniors. That leaves Amanda with one more year to earn hers. What a busy troop we have.

About Our Neighborhood (Service Unit)

We belong to the Ti-Tu-Me-Wood Neighborhood. The name stands for Tigard, Tualatin,Metzger, and Sherwood. These are the cities that make up our neighborhood. We belong to the Girl Scouts- Columbia River Council. Our neighborhood is one of our councils largest Neighborhood. We currently have over 80 troops and over 800 girls, and we're still growing! We do many of our own events.
