I also collect Teddy Bears ,mostly Boyds bears , I love Unicorns ,Dragons ,art ,architecture , Celtic and Nordic mythology and legends ,ancient Ireland , castles , knights , medieval times , gemstones lots and lots of pretty gemstones , my family ,animals , sci fi and fantasy movies , Vikings , medieval romance novels and movies , rock stars , concerts , shopping ,guitar, drums ,and singing .Not in any particular order.

My Favorite Bands
I love all metal music .Mostly older metal .My favorite bands are Warrior Soul , Iced Earth , COC (Corrosion Of Conformity) ,In Flames  ,Sentenced Dark Tranquility,Memory Garden &  Soilwork. But I also love Children of Bodom, Helloween ,Type O Negative,The Cult , Metal Church ,Judas Priest ,Iron Maiden , Dokken , Ratt ,  Alabama Thunder Pussy , Gothic Knights , Banshee ,Leatherwolf, Anacrusis, ,and many others .If you have never heard of some of these thats because some of the best bands do what they do best not whats popular, not what everybody else is doing . Making them special only to a few with good taste and not millons .Although I have added links to my favorites and a brief discription ,so check them out . I also like 80s rock like Duran Duran , INXS , Depeche Mode , Billy Idol ,Van Halen and many others .I am a true 80s "me generation " spoiled brat .  In Flames from Sweden! In Flames is one of my favorite bands! They just released their new CD entitled "Soundtrack To Your Escape", on March 6th here in the states. It is awesome just like their previous albums such as "Reroute To Remain" , "Colony", "Clayman", and "Jester Race" , and the other previous albums! I have seen them play live twice now  ,and I may add they blew every other band they played with away !I can't wait to see them play this May 24th at the 9:30 club in Washington DC.  You can click on the subtitle above to be taken to a page I made of pictures I took of In flames when they played at Jaxx in VA with Iced Earth. Warrior Soul was formed in Detroit Michigan USA by Kory Clarke . Since the late 80s Warrior Soul has had many line up changes .In 2001 they reformed with the orginal line up .Now Kory is following his creative side with a solo project .
Gothic Knights was formed in Brooklyn NY USA in March of 1990 .They are a classic power metal band along the lines of Helloween , with a yngwieish style . The music consists of strong bass / drum lines and melodic vocals ,and power rhythm guitar and guitar solos . If you like classic 80s melodic power metal you`ll love this one . Also I run a yahoo club for these guys ! They are extremely nice guys who love their fans! So come support them ! They have MP3 clips on their website. Also isn't Mario a cutie ??
Last year they released The Classics ,some of Warrior Souls finest , some revamped .The early CDS ,Last Decade Dead Century ,Drugs God and the New Republic , and Salutations from the  Ghetto Nation were  high powered political metal with angelic yet fiery vocals with emotional intensity .While the later Chill Pill ,Space Age Playboys ,and Odds and Ends were a release of Kory`s artistic moods .
 
COC (Corrosion of Conformity ) has been one of my all time favorites since 1989 with Blind . I haven't heard one song yet that I dont absolutely love . They mix a southern rock with hard pounding metal . Pepper Keenans total control over the storm of power in his voice is amazing ! Cool and yet strong . You have to listen to Clean My Wounds , Vote With A Bullet ,and Albatross to understand .I can't explain .The bottom picture is me with Pepper in Norfolk VA in Nov 2000. By the way Pepper is a totally cool guy .  
Iced Earth is a great power metal band founded in Indiana USA by Jon Schaffer . In 1995 they added the wonderful vocal talent of Matthew Barlow .With songs like The Hunter , I Died For You , Wolf , The Coming Curse, Damien ,Last December ,Iced Earth, and  Dark Saga they will fast become your favorite . Other current members are Richard Christy (Death ,Incantation)and Larry Tarnowski .AMG EXPERT REVIEW: "American power metal's last hope returns with a monumentally complex, full-octane fan-boy-driven concept album. When I first saw killing Me Killing You  a few months ago it was love at first sight/hear .Sentenced is extremely addictive!Mostly because of Ville`s intoxicating vocals.The music is total perfection ,they don't miss a beat !The blend is purely divine ,each song a masterpiece that can't be improved.Taking your heart beat with it as it swoars and dives.The music is absolutley a must for driving in the morning to work ,or relaxing in bed,or for stamina in the gym .I relate it to a fine black cashmere sweater ,total pleasure ,warm ,supreme,sexy ,confident and perfect .
