"The EDA Bullying Workbook" After each story we take notes & discuss bullying & other issues including the actions & behaviors of the characters & how certain situations could have been handled better. Kids are asked to compare these situations to their own lives & decide what they've learned.  Q & A section at the end of each chapter for note taking.

Each story shows examples of someone doing good & helping someone out who is being bullied or in a difficult situation. I refer to them as EDA's (Every Day Angels). Those taking time out from their own lives to help others. They don't have to. They don’t expect anything in return. They help because they want to help. This is what I am encouraging the bystanders of bullying to do. The book also encourages kids to care enough to get involved in stopping negative behavior & preventing people from getting hurt.

Build positive character traits, conquer fears, make the right choices, & improve self-esteem.  Bullies are helped to lessen their anger, understand how their behavior affects others , & are given something positive to aspire to.  Stories are adventurous & sometimes humorous to keep the readers attention so they don't miss the "lesson." And a story that made us all cry of a mother & father whose daughter committed suicide because she was too scared to go to school.   45min.
