For a decade he served as Music Director and Organist at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, New York City where he established an international concert series, was known for his exceptional performances of the sacred music repertoire, and served as the consultant for the restoration and completion of the church's historic Ĉolian-Skinner Organ. As the Founder and Artistic Director of Consort Musick, Inc., he has presented and co-presented the finest international choral ensembles to New York audiences, including the Tallis Scholars, Taverner Consort & Players, Ensemble for Early Music, Chanticleer, The Bach Ensemble, Anonymous 4, ARTEK Ensemble; and solo artists Emma Kirkby, Drew Minter, Julianne Baird, Gustav Leonhardt and Jean Guilou. Most recently he recorded music by Marc-Antoine Charpentier with The Virgin Consort & Orchestra in a program of Music for the Feast of the Nativity From the Court of Louis XIV for GOTHIC Records. As an organist, he has presented recitals throughout the United States. His recent recording on the Great Organs of New York City (Bischof & Vitacco Records) and Masterpieces from the Church of St. Mary the Virgin (Gothic Records) have been hailed by critics.
