Dave Dunkle, Executive Vice President and National Arbitration Advocate and Web Administrator for KYOWVA under the direction of David E. Daniel, President has developed computer templates .for grievances, members, maximization, job tracking, medical forms and others. All you need are DAVE DUNKLE'S template(s) and the Program Filemaker Pro 7.0 or newer version and your ready to do some heavy grieving and / or other activities that can be kept on a CD each year that you can carry with you home or whereever for quick review on past cases or information. You can buy or order the Filemaker Pro program currently for about $299.00 with a $100.00 rebate over the net at:

These templates can be personalized for your local with the locals name, address, phone number(s),E-Mail Address(s),Fax number, President's name, your NBA's address in your area, the USPS representative you send your step 3 appeal or arbitration appeal to.
All forms where necesary have a place to put a certified number and a place where the supervisor can sign for the form or a witness can sign it to establish the supervisor received such document and all layout fields that are used on all layouts are linked together so you only have to type the information once in most fields except in some areas where this feature is not adventageous to the steward.
All forms where relevant objects to the USPS entering new evidense at each step. This becomes an important argument in arbitration. Also, practically all layouts have a comment on all relevant pages that asks management to:
" If you disagree, with any of the above information on this page, please respond and specify and identify any and all area(s) of disagreement. "
This is also an important feature in arbitration as the NBA can add even more to an argument by saying to the arbitrator:
" We, the Union even asked the USPS to respond and disagree and they did not. This template also has a master grievance log to track all grievances and all you have to do at the end of the year is consolidate the records sort them in numberical order and print out the page and put it in the front of your paper grievance file for later reference, when needed.
Further, you can copy your template each year on CD and have it with you at home or whereever to refer to quickly when the need exists.Further, there are 5 page request for information layouts for at least step 1,2 and 3 of the process.
These request for information firstly request the info as per the NLRA and article 17.3 and 31 of the CBA and then it secondly requestd the info as per the Freedom of Information Act. Also, the first page of the Request For Information in each layout already has 9 seperate requested item numbers that deal with big issues.
The request is based on the issue. All you have to do is get your issue full and correct and the form does the rest. Even if you have a bad steward, All you have to tell him / her to do is get the issue right and at least submit the 1st form in the layout. This page at least gets your foot in the door.
Further, we can put a password on it for you to keep management or other individuals out of it if you have a computer at work.
Further, we can e-mail you a test template that contains only a few of the layouts to show you how it works and if you like it you can call and will make arrangements for the full template. We could go on and on about this template, but you will just have to see it to believe it to realize how much it can help you. No matter how big or small your local is we can build one for you.
Currently on the Grievance Appeal Template we have the following layouts. If you get our template we would like to hear from you concerning anything we can do to improve the template. The template constantly changes with the Contractual changes and therefore keeps your local up to date.
