The 1988 model year was the last year this style of Magna was built, in fact it was intended as the last production year of the Magna. . . Forever! However, due to changes in Motorcyclists tastes and the increasing popularity of cruise style bikes plus a sales explosion for motorcycles in general, the restyled, Magna made a very successful return to Honda showrooms in the early 1990's My favorite Magna remains the 1987-1988 model with the upswept pipes and solid rear wheel. This bike is a hoot to ride and it screams. . .
The front fender, front lower cowl and one of the side covers have been replaced due to damage incured from a previous owner
This winter I plan on repairing several chrome pieces, repainting the header pipes and possibly replacing the mufflers, all of which have some minor damage, or rust. Polishing out the solid rear wheel and other metal surfaces are on the winter schedule for this bike
