WELCOME to . . . KZ Mike's Place
Be sure to check out:
-1] Look at the header pipes, what condition are they?  This item is often impossible [or VERY Expensive] to replace or find in original condition. . .look for rust, pitting, dents and gouges from rocks, bottoming out etc.
- 2] Emblems/Badges are often damaged when the bike is tipped over by inexeperienced riders.  Check the edge of the emblem for damage.
- 3] The Grab Bar around the back of the seat has often been taken off and discarded in favor of a sissy bar or some other accessory, and are a difficult item to obtain.
- 4] Aluminum, like most other metals will deteriorate over time when left to the elements.  Pits and discoloration will form in/on the aluminum when not maintained
and is costly to remove.

Z-1 Project
Since completing several KZ Projects I am now planning to do a Z-1.  I have a couple of reasonable part bikes and am looking for parts a few more parts.  If you have anything you would like to sell or part with [for trade?] let me know. . . need lights for instument cluster, a seat, and couple of side cover insignias.

If you are a Z1 / KZ enthusiast take click on the link below to get details on some of the history of the Z1

Motorcycle Stuff FOR SALE
I have several Motorcycles that I wish to sell. Buying old KZ's and then bringing 'em back to life is a fun thing for me. . . but there comes a point when space to keep them runs out and something has to give.
1] My effort to reduce the number of Motorcycles has started in earnest [to a sigh of relief from my wife], my 1996 Vulcan 1500 Classic, sold unexpectedly fast [price was to low again I think].  My Kawasaki Voyager XII [SOLD to first person] is out of winter storage and is ready to move to a new home. . . take a look if you are interested in a really great touring bike.
2] I am finishing up a 1969 Honda CL-70, [no photos yet, and 'obtained a Honda CA110].  I will probably [maybe not] be selling it, so let me know if you are interested.  The LTD is GONE so the only motorcycle I have for sale is the 1980 Fuel Injected KZ1000 G
-scroll to the bottom of the page to see photos-
3] The extra KZ and Z-1 parts, I have are For Sale or Trade. . .  including some side covers, fenders, carbs, engine covers, etc.    There are a few Honda CB750 and Yamaha Triple parts left over also.  Most are in pretty good shape, drop me a note if you are looking for something.  E-mail a list of what you are looking for. . .

UNEXPECTED FIND
Helping a good 'Motorcycle Buddy' move his motorcycle parts, projects, and tons of other Motorcycle STUFF, I was quite [like WOW!] surprised to find a 1930 PEUGEOT SEDAN in storage. . . yes he also, is into Classic cars too.   Matthew is selling EVERYTHING. . . he has tons of parts for KZ and Z1 engines - lots of racing parts for Honda's including body plastics.  Click on the link above and then the link to
his e-mail link.  Lots of odds & ends for Yamaha and Suzuki too. . .
My Project list has gotten 'outa hand' and $$$$ are needed, so the KZ-1000 G has to go!
