General Info
I'm a scientific rationalist, but also a Witch and mystic. My life is full of contradictions and dualities: I'm transsexual (a shemale), bisexual, a BDSM switch, a fiscally conservative Democrat.
I read voraciously on all manner of subjects. My extensive library has something to indict me for harboring any viewpoint, religion, philosophy, or interests you could imagine. Sigh, I'm as intensely curious as Pandora's cat.
When I was born, almost every astrological object was in the sign of Scorpio, which was directly overhead. I have all the intensity & confusing contradictions that are stereotypical of the sign. I'm intelligent, brilliant enough to be a lazy underachiever while seeming like a genius, although I am not in that league.

My Erotic Life
I'd be considered pansexual, that is, I enjoy nearly all forms of consensual erotic play and fantasy. I have a strong inclination toward real play with bondage, dominance & submission, and safe but heavy sadomasochism. My partner doesn't share this, but my boyfriend does.
It's often frustrating, because my erotic tastes and my comfort and fascination with the erotic tastes of others is so broad that I can accidentally challenge anyone's sensibilities. Commensurately, I'd probably be any cute, polite, pervert's dream cohort.

My Spirituality
The Goddesses toward which I have the greastest affinity are the Sumerian triad of Inanna, Lilith, and Ereshkigal. The represent the triple-Goddess of witchcraft. The first known people to use writing, Sumerians wrote a lot, from beautiful epic poetry to detailed descriptions of accounting methods.
Their legends are the oldest recorded. The story of Persephone, to me, pales in comparison to Inanna's descent into and return from the Underworld.
Ereshkigal is the Queen of the Underworld. She is a Goddess of destruction to make way for the new, much like Kali. She is a Goddess of change, much like Baba Yaga. She represents the Crone aspect of the triple-Goddess.
Inanna and Lilith share the Maiden and Mother aspects of the triple-Goddess. Inanna is much a Goddess of motherhood. Lilith is more of a "wild child." Together, they reflect the "good-girl/bad-girl" aspects of feminity and sexuality.
