Warning!!!
Dont tell Joly, but there's a case of Lesmiseritis going around....
Symptoms:
Linking EVERYTHING you hear or see to Les Mis in some way that only you or another person suffering from Lesmiseritis would be able to understand...
Feeling that a day is somehow incomplete if you haven't listened to something from Les Mis at least once...
Feeling compelled to buy Les Mis recordings in languages you don't understand in the slightest...
Comparing friends, family and everyone in general with characters from Les Mis...
Taking photos of any of the following... click here
Walking for miles in order take photos of any of the above.
Reading the novel more than once/in French/both of the above
Naming various pets/toys/objects after Les Mis characters
Writing fan fiction based on Les Mis
Reading fan fiction based on Les Mis
Imagining that one or more of a certain group of Revolutionary students are in fact living in your bedroom...
Talking to said group of Revolutionary students.
Blaming EVERYTHING on aforementioned Revolutionary students.
Not being able to have a conversation without bringing Les Mis into it somewhere.
Feeling proud of yourself when you have managed to go four weeks without seeing the show.
Buying every video based on Les Mis, and liking them just because they are Les Mis, even if they are the worst video you've ever seen in your life. (And leave out a certain important group of people who have been mentioned several times already in this list and who never seem to get the credit they deserve *end of rant*)
Feeling compelled to re-enact *that death scene* everytime you come across:
a) an empty bed that you could lie across
b) a sprial stair case
c) Regular stairs
d)Scaffolding
e) A rubbish dump
f) ANYTHING THAT BASICALLY ALLOWS YOU TO LIE UPSIDE DOWN AND PRETEND TO BE DEAD!!!! *Contributed by Enjep*
Planning a Barricade Mourning Party for the 5th/6th June... complete with Barricade cake, re-enactment of various parts of the story and lots of general Les Mis activities... go here to see photos!
Actually inviting someone else to said Barricade Mourning Party... (they enthusiastically accepted the invitation btw, so I am *not* the only mad person around here lol)
Getting thoroughly upset when certain aforementioned dates are brought up in conversation, whether directly relating to Les Mis or not... (and then wondering why everyone is looking at you weirdly...)
Constantly trying to write Joly instead of July...
Reading the word "jolly" in a book and then staring at it for ages cos you're *sure* it's spelt wrong....
Managing to link 'The March of the Falsettos' to Les Mis and then writing a cross-over fic on it.... (No, I am not guilty of this one, and the person who is shall remain forever nameless lol.)
