I currently serve as the principle clarinetist of the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and Oprea Orchestra at UTSA. I currently study with Larry Mentzer, whomserved as principle clarinetist of the San Antonio Symphony for 37 years.

My Mission
After training independently with master clarinetists and musicians I hope to educate the youth of this age in the splendors of music and musical performance. I believe every individual should have at least one opportunity to intelligently listen to a concert and evaluate the experience for him or herself. I support all art and feel that in order for society to fully understand the many cultures that exist they must understand the art brought forth by those cultures. Music is my conduit for relaying messages such as those. Many members of society don't fully understand why it is that after hearing Beethoven's fifth, they can name the composer. I will regain that spark of curiosity and ambition that all individuals felt at a time. I will spread the power of music to all those who seek it.
