Reiki I & II

Reiki is a technique that channels “life energy” for stress reduction that also promotes healing. Reiki attunements allow everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of "life energy." Reiki is easy to learn and apply in daily life, and has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds. A treatment feels like a serene glowing radience that flows through you and envelops you. Reiki has many beneficial effects including relaxation, alleviated physical discomfort, and feelings of peace, security and well being for both the practitioner and receiver. Many have reported miraculous results affecting the body, emotions and spirit using Reiki techniques.
Reiki can be performed on yourself, or you can receive treatments from an attuned Practitioner. It’s one of the fastest growing complimentary treatments as even hospitals and doctors' offices are beginning to include it as part of their therapy. This class focuses on Traditional Usui techniques, and also includes important new information on the theory and practice of Reiki.
Class fee is $150.00, and includes a Reiki manual. You may bring an non-perishable lunch, or may try one of Silver Spring's fine restaurants.

Come experience a treatment first with Leslie, or come to a Reiki Share to experience the power of Reiki for the first time, or share your techniques with others if you are already attuned. There is no fee for this session.

Introduction to Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is an ancient art that has recently received much attention from even the western medical researchers. With direct application, essential oils have chemical properties in which viruses and bacteria cannot live. Additionally, scents travel through the limbic system in order to facilitate relaxation, rejuvination, or emotional and spiritual healing. Learn in this introductory seminar how to incorporate the power of essential oils into your daily routine.
