HISTORY OF THE BATTLE OF OLUSTEE
February 20, 1864
"The Battle of Olustee" is Volume II of the series "The Civil War in Florida, A Military History" and is 410 pages, with 1,695 end/footnotes and 100 maps and illustrations on 60 lb library grade acid free paper. It is case bound in blue buckram with silver lettering on spine and cover with an illustrated dust cover.
The history is derived entirely from letters, diaries, memoirs, official records,
contemporary newspapers and other contemporary records. The text is in quote and each source endnoted. All text from a Confederate source has a vertical gray bar to the left of its entry to assist the reader, and during the battle a clock face is included with the time illustrated on the upper corner of each page to give the reader the approximate time frame of the events being described.
