Quick Pineapple Coaster

Materials: 1 ball of Speed CroSheen (makes 4-6 coasters)

Crochet hook size E

Finished size: about 4 1/2” across

Ch 4, join with a sl st to form ring

Row 1: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, dc in ring, ch 2, 2 dc in ring, ch 5, 2 dc

in ring, ch 2, 2 dc in ring; turn.

Row 2: Sl st in each of the first 2 dc, sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 3 to

count as the first dc, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the same sp, ch 2, 8 trc in the next

ch 5 sp, ch 2, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the next ch 2 sp; turn.

Row 3: Sl st in each of the first 2 dc, sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 3 to

count as the first dc, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the same sp, ch 2, dc in the next

trc, (ch 1, dc in the next trc) 7 times, ch 2, skip next ch 2 sp, (2 dc, ch 2, 2

dc) in the next ch 2 sp; turn.

Row 4: Sl st in each of the first 2 dc, sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 3 to

count as the first dc, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the same sp, ch 2, sc in the next ch

1 sp, (ch 3, sc in the next ch 1 sp) 6 times, ch 2, skip next ch 2 sp, (2 dc,

ch 2, 2 dc) in the next ch 2 sp; turn.

Row 5: Sl st in each of the first 2 dc, sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 3 to

count as the first dc, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the same sp, ch 2, sc in the next ch

3 sp, (ch 3, sc in the next ch 3 sp) 5 times, ch 2, skip next ch 2 sp, (2 dc,

ch 2, 2 dc) in the next ch 2 sp; turn.

Row 6: Sl st in each of the first 2 dc, sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 3 to

count as the first dc, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the same sp, ch 2, sc in the next ch

3 sp, (ch 3, sc in the next ch 3 sp) 4 times, ch 2, skip next ch 2 sp, (2 dc,

ch 2, 2 dc) in the next ch 2 sp; turn.

Row 7: Sl st in each of the first 2 dc, sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 3 to

count as the first dc, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the same sp, ch 2, sc in the next ch

3 sp, (ch 3, sc in the next ch 3 sp) 3 times, ch 2, skip next ch 2 sp, (2 dc,

ch 2, 2 dc) in the next ch 2 sp; turn.

Row 8: Sl st in each of the first 2 dc, sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 3 to

count as the first dc, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the same sp, ch 2, sc in the next ch

Row 9: Sl st in each of the first 2 dc, sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 3 to

count as the first dc, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the same sp, ch 2, sc in the next ch

3 sp, ch 3, sc in the next ch 3 sp, ch 2, skip next ch 2 sp, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc)

in the next ch 2 sp; turn.

Row 10: Sl st in each of the first 2 dc, sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 3 to

count as the first dc, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the same sp, ch 2, sc in the next ch

3 sp, ch 2, skip next ch 2 sp, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the next ch 2 sp; turn.

Row 11: Sl st in each of the first 2 dc, sl st into the first ch 2 sp, ch 3 to

count as the first dc, dc in the same sp, skip next 2 ch 2 sp’s, 2 dc in the

last ch 2 sp. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
