THURSDAY NIGHTS FOR EIGHT WEEKS…

Published, award-winning playwright, Lisa Soland, will once again be heading up one of LA's premiere playwright workshops -- The All Original Playwright Workshop.

The eight week workshop will take place on Thursday nights from 7 to 10:45 pm, beginning Sept. 4, and ending with a performance of the original work, Oct. 23.  The cost will be $300 and will be limited to 10 participants.  Each participant's completed play will be considered for the All Original Playwright Workshop Fellowship Award which consists of a cash stipend and a public staged reading of their work.  Any monologues that are submitted and workshopped during this time, will be considered for publication in All Original Publishing's "Cutting Edge Monologues, Vol. I."

Ms. Soland has fourteen publications, including her new play WAITING, which has just been released by Samuel French, Inc.  She is also the Artistic Director for Theatre Encino and produces a monthly playreading series honoring playwrights and their new works.  For more information, including workshop testimonies, visit the website at www.LisaSoland.com or call (818) 973-2262.  Online workshops are now available for those who live outside of the Southern California area.

THE ALL ORIGINAL PLAYWRIGHT WORKSHOP

THE ALL ORIGINAL PLAYWRIGHT WORKSHOP is a progressive group of talented writers, actors, and directors whose sole purpose is to develop new material for the stage, screen and television.  Any dialogue that can be performed can be workshopped, as long as it was written by a workshop member.  What makes the group so exciting is that everyone is actively participating in the creative process AND on so many levels.
The AOPW FELLOWSHIP AWARD is given out approximately four times a year to writers currently participating in the workshop.  Writers are chosen whose project is most ready for the next step -- a public staged reading.  The AOPW FELLOWSHIP AWARD includes a fully financed and produced staged reading of their original work.
The class size is limited for intimacy and maximum learning and participating potential.  Payment is due one week prior to the start of the workshop.  If you are interested in participating in this or the next ALL ORIGINAL PLAYWRIGHT WORKSHOP, contact us by emailing your request to:  LisaSoland@aol.com.
